Amanda Blake
Amanda Blake (born Beverly Louise Neill) was an incredibly famous American actor. She is most well-known for her character in the role of Miss Kitty Russell from the TV show "Gunsmoke", she was also a popular American actress. She was also known for her appearances in TV shows like The Red Skelton Show,' 'Tattletales,' and The Edge of Night. Also, she was a part of in numerous other movies that included Stars In My Crown, Duchess of Idaho,?Cattle Town,?Miss Robin Crusoe,?"About Mrs. Leslie",?The Adventures of Hajjibaba? and???The Boost???. As a former operator of a phone, Blake was an avid animal fan. Along along with Frank Gilbert, she was the first who successfully raised cheetahs cages. This American actress was also among founding co-founders of Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL). Blake was also a chairman of the board of directors for the Humane Society of the United States. Blake was a member of the Hall of Great Western Performers of the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. The museum also presented her with the Courage Award by the American Cancer Society.
